Kia’s “Matrix” (2014) – $8 Million Creating a parallel reality complete with fireworks, gravitating cars, exploding street lights and Morpheus from the Matrix does not come cheaply. Taco Bell’s “Viva Young” (2013) – $7.6 Million Taco Bell hired every senior actor they could find for this fun commercial showing the elderly living la vida loca and pulling an all nighter. How does a 70+ partygoer top off a night on the town? With a trip to where else – but Taco Bell. Budweiser, Delivery Truck Bridge (2010) – $5.8 million The network charged $2.9 million for every 30 seconds. Budweiser presented a super bowl commercial that ran for one minute and showed how a community would do everything to save a bridge crucial for the delivery truck of Budweiser to make it to their town. Budweiser has always been known for their memorable ads, especially the croaking frogs of the 90s. Pepsi, Joy of Pepsi (2002) – $5.7 million In one of the most discussed and expensive Super Bowl commercials, Britney Spears transcended different eras as she appeared in Pepsi commercials aired through the years from the 1950s.
