Ke Huy Quan has joined the likes of Dwayne Johnson and Charlie Chaplin, among others, as his handprints and footprints have been added to the famous sidewalk in Hollywood. The hand-and-footprint ceremony is usually held to celebrate actors' contributions to the industry, and Quan has been honored for his comeback in acting. Quan had stayed away from acting for 19 years before returning in 2021. He later won multiple awards, especially for his role in the 2022 film Everything Everywhere All at Once. He was celebrated with a special ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre, but what made the occasion notable was the presence of the cast and crew from The Goonies at the event. In addition, screenwriter Chris Columbus and directors Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan shared their thoughts on Quan’s journey. They appreciated him for his impact on the industry and the inspiration he has provided to actors who step away from Hollywood.
