Think about the 1920s vs 2020s. The year 2020 is quickly approaching and we're all preparing for a new year and decade. It will also mark 100 years since the 1920s began and so much has changed since then! From clothing to cars to simple, everyday items, some things we may not even recognize anymore. It's nice to take a walk down memory lane and reminisce about these old-style items as they evolve when years progress. It's considered extremely impressive should you own an upkeep a vintage car now. Many people will bring in old cars for car shows, often from the '40s, '50s, and '60s. The television was actually invented in 1927 and you had to look into the receiving machine to see the moving picture. Now, just about every home has some kind of television, whether it be an actual cable set or a smart TV. 5. Radio Radios / Flickr / Crunch Reviews These radios back in the 1920s were much bigger and bulkier. Nowadays, many of the radios have been amplified with 'smart' features like a touchscreen. That is if people even listen to the radio anymore! Many people are turning towards streaming music on Spotify, Apple Music, or even their Amazon Alexa. 6. Everyday clothing Clothing / Fashion Institute of Technology/Paris Insider's Guide Everyday clothing is something that truly evolves and changes as time goes on. With that being said, retro clothing items are continuing to come back into style! Maybe we'll see a return of some 1920s fashion for the 2020s. 7. Music players Music players / Pinterest/Systweak Blog Back in the day, in order to listen to music, you'd have to put a record on. While many people still use vinyl records to this day, you can turn to your smartphone at any time to play pretty much any song.
