The reboot show for One Day at a Time (originally a series by Norman Lear in 1975) was not up for renewal by Netflix after its third season falls in ratings. However, the show is now up for renewal by a new network and is releasing the fourth season sometime next year. Despite an apparent decrease in ratings, critics are rating the show very generously.
