The couple, who had already been taking an In-vitro fertilization regimen, was surprised by the pregnancy. "It was a huge shock. We just weren't expecting this, had just gone through IVF, had embryos on ice and We had a plan," she said to PEOPLE. She also stated that the discovery of the pregnancy all began with Tarek, who had an unusual feeling and advised his wife to take a pregnancy test. She took the test thrice, with two of it not detecting the pregnancy until the third one, which confirmed her state. "I was organizing my clothes, I was just doing other things, and probably like 20 minutes later, I was like, 'Oh, the pregnancy test.' I went and looked, and it said full-on pregnant," she said. Heather Talks About The Unexpected Happened Instagram "When we first started dating three years ago, we went into our relationship not planning on having children together. I really love being a bonus mom to Taylor and Brayden. They're such incredible kids, and I love them so much," Heather told PEOPLE.
