Since ancient Greece, people have looked forward to the Olympics. It’s that one time every four years where you get to see all kinds of different people compete in sports you didn’t even know existed. And every four years, it’s a huge source of entertainment and powerful images. The joy of a gold medalist winner goes hand in hand with the disappointment of the athlete that ended in fourth place, not getting to bring home a medal to show for his efforts. 1.
