Slapping Chris Rock onstage during the most recent Academy Awards broadcast is one of Will Smith's public misdeeds many will not forget. This moment of rage and misdemeanor remains memorable for both Rock, Smith and everyone who witnessed it live or on television. Smith has attempted once again to make amends for his action with an open apology directed at his victim, Chris Rock. In a video uploaded to his social media pages, Smith concedes his action was wrong, apologizes to Chris Rock, and tells him he is ready to talk whenever Rock is. Here is what Will said: "I've reached out to Chris and the message that came back is that he's not ready to talk, and when he is, he will reach out. So I will say to you, Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable, and I'm here whenever you're ready to talk." It is not the first time Smith has attempted to correct his wrongdoing with an apology to Rock.
