For the "Generation Z" folks, The Carpenters were a famous pop, easy-listening American rock, brother- and- sister instrumental and vocal duo from 1970 and the early 1980s. The group had three No.1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with several other single records which placed in the Top 10.
