The CMT Awards aired on Wednesday night, June 6, and only the best of the best attended and were honored that evening. The awards show took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. As expected, Carrie Underwood and Blake Shelton took home the top awards of the evening, including best Male and Female Video of the Year.
