The Monkees was one of the most famous pop bands of the late ‘60s, with Davy Jones as the perfect frontman for the group, thanks to his talent, looks, and endearing sense of humor. Jones left the group in 1970 to pursue his solo career; however, he last performed with them in 2011 at a Milwaukee show. Jones died at 66 in 2012 after a heart attack from arteriosclerosis, but his legacy lives on through his music and four children— Annabelle, Jessica, Talia, and Sarah.
