Michael Jackson‘s three children, Prince, Paris, and Bigi, made a rare public appearance together on the red carpet. The occasion was a personal one, as they attended a preview of MJ: The Musical, held at London’s Prince Edward Theatre.
MJ: The Musical is a jukebox musical about the life of the King of Pop’s life. It opened on Broadway in 2021 and has since launched a tour across the U.S. and abroad. This year marked its West End debut, while it will open in Hamburg, Germany, this autumn, and Sydney, Australia next year.

Both Prince and Bigi went with a classy, classic black suit, coordinating with each other but putting their own spin on the rest of their respective outfits. 22-year-old Bigi opted for a white button-down shirt with some of those upper buttons left undone.

As for Prince, 27, he kept up a darker mood with a rich red shirt and black tie. Finally, 25-year-old Paris was seen dazzling in a swishy bronze-colored dress, whose crisscrossed halter top left her shoulders exposed. She finished the look with matching strappy heels and subtle but shimmering jewelry at her ears, wrists, and fingers.
The family is continuing MJ’s legacy
MJ: The Musical follows Jackson’s creative process as he’s preparing for his 1992 Dangerous tour. This elite inspiration is backed by an all-star crew, including Lynn Nottage, in charge of the musical’s book, along with Christopher Wheeldon.
Nottage has the Pulitzer Prize for Drama twice and was included in Time magazine’s 2019 list of the 100 Most Influential People. Wheeldon has experience providing choreography at an international level and specializes in ballet.
Although MJ received mixed reviews, it was a box office triumph. The musical was nominated for 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical. Of those, it won four: Best Choreography, Best Lighting Design, Best Sound Design, and Best Actor, in honor of Myles Frost’s performance as Jackson.
On top of this, Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, is playing him in a biopic about the famous pop star, concisely titled Michael. According to the biopic’s official synopsis, “Michael will bring audiences a riveting and honest portrayal of the brilliant yet complicated man who became the King of Pop.”
