
Priscilla Presley has a way of bringing back memories of her late ex-husband, Elvis Presley, to fans even though it has been over four decades since his death. Recently, the 79-year-old businesswoman shared the story of a visit to the home where Elvis was born in 1935, Tupelo, Mississippi.
Growing up, Elvis lived with his parents, Vernon and Gladys Presley, in a small wooden house with only two rooms. When he met Priscilla in 1959, he was stationed in Germany for military service, and by the time they would meet again in 1967, he was already living at Graceland, his mansion in Memphis, Tennessee.

The relationship between Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley used to be one of the most talked about in Hollywood. Although Priscilla noted that she began to like Elvis when she was 11, they met for the first time in 1959, when she was 14, and he was 24, during his military service in Germany.
When Elvis returned to the States in 1960, they maintained a long-distance relationship. In 1963, Priscilla moved to live with him in the States at Graceland under strict conditions set by her parents. The young couple married in 1967 and gave birth to their first and only child, daughter Lisa Marie Presley, in 1968. However, they began to encounter problems in their marriage. Eventually, they divorced in 1973 due to Elvis’ work schedule, infidelities, and other personal issues. But they kept being friends, showing mutual respect for one another until Elvis died in 1977.

Priscilla still cherished him even after their divorce and even after Elvis passed away. Although she had another partner and gave birth to her son Navarone Garibaldi, she still preserved his legacy, sharing old pictures and writing tributes to him.
Recently, Priscilla Presley shared with fans what the home Elvis grew up in looked like. The A Little Less Conservation singer did not enjoy the luxury of living in a big house with several rooms and designs. Priscilla noted that she was shocked when she saw the small building, which only had two rooms.
