It looks like Marie Osmond is changing up her look! The usual brunette babe is going for a blonde bombshell look now and she has shown it off on her Instagram account. She went blonde for a girls trip to Mt. Rushmore. Many fans in the comments are saying it’s a wig. No matter what the situation, it definitely suits her either way!

In the Instagram caption, she also tells a story of what took place that weekend. She ends the caption with Bible verse 40:31: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

This photo was taken on my girls trip this week to #MtRushmore. We were looking at all the cute cabins where we were staying that one of our friend’s dad owns. They were all occupied, and one sweet lady said you can come see ours, my husband is sleeping but could you take a photo with him anyway? He’ll be sad he missed seeing you. Now, I’ve taken a lot of photos with people throughout my life but this… oh, it’s definitely the most unique!!! 🤣😂🤣 He woke up and still remained in bed 😆 but this situation made me think about my topic for today’s Sunday message… getting out of bed! 😳🤗🤪🧐😜🥰 I do several things when I first wake up. First, I get up! It would be so easy to stay in bed and sleep a bit longer, but I have found the day just goes better when I just GET UP. The next thing I do is set my intentions for the day. I read scriptures, make a few notes about what I need to do and then take a moment to ponder what I have read. It’s my simple devotional, and although it doesn’t require a great deal of time, it sets a tone of peace for the rest of my day. This morning I came across a familiar scripture that I have used often in my life. But right now it is especially important. Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” I love this promise especially as I prepare for September… where I will be shooting #TheTalk in the morning in California and fly to Vegas for the show @FlamingoVegas until we end our 11 year run in #LasVegas. This promise that we WILL have that strength and that we can go forward strengthens my faith and trust in God’s promise because He will be with us the whole way. And besides we didn’t come to earth to live our life staying in bed.. though I do believe in a few naps once in a while and… even a photo while taking one! 🤣 #HappySunday Go to my Facebook page or marieosmond.com/sundaymessage to read the rest of the message ♥️

During the meet and greets @FlamingoVegas I have asked what you would like me to write about in my #Sunday messages. The number one topic: What do you do when life gets really tough? Harold B. Lee called [life’s tribulations], “the inevitable tragedies of life.” We don’t like the sound of the word inevitable, but it is an accurate term. Mortal life is filled with challenges, trials, setbacks, disappointments, misfortune, tragedy, disaster, loss, pain, suffering and sorrow…. When I was young I wondered where I would fit in my very talented family.I was the only girl and wanted to sing too, but could I? My brothers had already made a name for themselves and I wondered if there was even room for me. My Mother always believed in me and she would say “Marie you have a very strong voice, don’t be like others, be you.” And then one day I heard the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Judy Garland. It was as though Judy was singing those words right to me. I still fight feelings of inadequacy, but rather than give in to them, I remember my Mom believed in me. I hear those negative thoughts just like you do when I try something new…”what makes you think you can do that?” But as I let God lead me to new things, I find it’s possible! Someone recently asked me why after all the years of country, pop and broadway success I chose to sing Opera? Well, it is because my son Michael loved it. Michael’s passing left a hole in my heart that will never be filled until I see him again. When I sing his favorite genre and more specifically the song “Pie Jesu”, I can feel his presence and that brings me such joy! I went to his grave Friday when I arrived in Utah and I told him that the Saturday’s Symphonic show was for him. 🥰 The photo was from last night where I performed with the Utah Symphony Orchestra in Park City, Utah. The mountains I sang in front of are my metaphor of climbing and never giving up. Remember “when life gives you more than you can stand… kneel”. IT WORKS!
