3. “Pioneer Women”
This episode originally aired on March 31, 1952, and featured the two main couples trying to see if they can live like the pioneers once did. Lucie shares that her father, Desi Arnaz, actually slipped and broke some ribs in that episode! However, they kept filming because they really never stopped filming for anything… even injuries.
4. “Job Switching”
This episode originally aired on September 15, 1952, and was the famous chocolate episode, where Lucy stuffs so many chocolates in her mouth to keep up with a conveyer belt. Do you remember the worker behind Lucy in the episode? They were an actual worker at See’s Candy.
5. “L.A. at Last”
This episode originally aired on February 7, 1955. In the episode, Lucy goes to Hollywood and stalks actor William Holden. William wanted to be on the show to promote his current movie and the show wanted a big name star. It all worked out!

I worked at a long term facility, and we had a resident, who loved, Lucy. She would watch every day. We cohld hesr her laughing and whooping at the Nurses Station. When she passed, she had her family buu pizzas for us in the whole place. Some of us who were closer to her, gathered in. Our breakroom. 11:00 !Time for Lucy, we ate our pizza and laughed and told sweet stories about, Lucy and Louise!
