This sweet sixteen also means she's pulled up to a huge milestone and acquired her special permit to drive at age 16, provided she's addressing the training requirements to qualify. She added assuringly, "Actually… she was VERY good. As long as she never backs the car through the kitchen…we’re good." This is a cheeky nod to the Full House episode "Honey, I Broke the House," in which Stephanie did just that to the kitchen. The requirements vary to a degree by state, and California, where Sweetin lives, demands that young drivers be at least 15 and a half years old, but under 18, and have a Certificate of Completion/Enrollment of Driver Education, according to the state's DMV.
