Barbra Streisand and her husband, James Brolin, celebrated the longest-living former US president, Jimmy Carter, with a note for his 99th birthday. Jimmy turned a year older on October 1st, receiving many wishes from dignitaries and celebrities nationwide, including citizens who contributed to the mosaic created by The Carter Center. Barbra's note was short and cheeky— it read, "Dear Mr. President, One of my friends just turned 98, and another one just turned 101. Anyway, you look at it— you will live forever!! Sending you our best wishes," with the bottom signed by herself and her husband, James.
