Ozzy Osbourne’s signed guitar raises £15,000 for children’s hospice
Osbourne recently donated a special 2024 Gibson SG electric guitar to the Acorn Children’s Hospice. This guitar was not just a random guitar as it was signed by Osbourne himself and several famous artists such as Jack Black, Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Billy Idol, all of whom performed at his solo Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

The guitar went under the hammer at the Acorns ‘This Town’ Gala Dinner, a fundraising event aimed at supporting the hospice which was held on Friday, February 28. The signed Osbourne guitar was a big hit at the auction, selling for an impressive £15,000. This contribution was part of a larger effort that raised a total of £179,570 for the charity, which is committed to helping children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Ozzy Osbourne remains committed to keep donating to charities
Aside from the recent donation of his signed electric guitar, Osbourne continues to show his dedication to helping others through his charitable efforts. The musician is teaming up with his Black Sabbath bandmates for a special fundraising concert on July 5th.
The funds raised during the event will be used to support several causes such as Cure Parkinson’s, the Birmingham Children’s Hospital as well as Acorn Children’s Hospice, holds a special place in Osbourne’s heart and has reportedly over the past one year catered for more than 780 children across the West Midland and also supported over 1,000 families.
