Royal commentator Neil Sean has alleged that Markle’s show copied Pamela Anderson’s show directly, with some scenes appearing almost identical. In a recent video, Sean pointed out a side-by-side comparison of Markle and Anderson high-fiving guests, stating the similarities are too precise to be an accident.

Sean conceded it’s difficult to reinvent a lifestyle format but argued that Markle did little to differentiate her show. He added that insiders close to Anderson claim she doesn’t care about the resemblance, as the publicity has renewed interest in her show.

While others lament that the similarities are too obvious, British television presenter Helena Chard believes the accusation of copying is unfair. Since the public wanted to know more about Markle’s life, Chard predicted that the debut episode would garner a large following, making With Love, Meghan a successful show.
