5. Slyvia Plath
Sylvia Plath is one of the most famous poets of all time. However, one of Sylvia‘s pieces was first rejected from The New Yorker in 1962. At least the letter does say they liked part of her piece and encourages her to re-submit.
6. Stephen King
One of the most famous authors of all time, Stephen King reportedly received lots of rejection letters for “Carrie.” We bet they are kicking themselves now! Above is a rejection letter for another one of his projects.
These letters should just prove that you should never give up on your goals or dreams. Even the most talented people in the world have gotten rejected before they hit it big! We bet there are a lot more of these letters out there too.
