Mick Jagger, the singer of The Rolling Stones, has recently reported that he underwent heart surgery, which prompted cancelation of the rest of their North American tour. While no rescheduling for these tour dates has been announced yet, the singer has made it clear that he will be taking it easy in order to fully recover.
โThank you everyone for all your messages of support, Iโm feeling much better now and on the mend โ and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job,โ Jagger said in a statement on Twitter.

Reports say that Jagger underwent heart surgery to replace a valve and had a stent inserted in a sagging artery.
A representative for the singer has also reached out to other news outlets, confirming that Jagger is in good health and on the mend as of now. “Mick Jagger has successfully undergone treatment. He is doing very well and is expected to make a full recovery.”
The bandโs โNo Filterโ tour was scheduled to take place from April 20th to July 29th. The lead singer himself took to social media to apologize for having to indefinitely postpone the tour and said that he was โdevastatedโ about it.
โIโm so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this,โ theย statementย on Twitter read, โIโm devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.โ

Speculation began on Jaggerโs health when the band announced theyย needed to postpone the tourย because the frontman needed โmedical treatment.โ The statement was so vague that people began to wonder what was going on with his health.
Thankfully, it sounds like it was nothing too serious and Jagger will be able to make a full recovery and get back to touring as soon as possible!
Everyone from bandmates to their incredibly large following has been giving Jagger an outpouring of love as he recovers from this heart surgery. We certainly hope to see The Rolling Stones back on tour soon and also hope to see everyone in good health!
