13. Mia Farrow

Frank Sinatra’s third wedding in June 1966 was to Mia Farrow, who wore a neat skirt suit and who was just 21 at the time (Sinatra was 50). They were famously married in 15 minutes at The Sands Hotel in Las Vegas. Their marriage lasted two years before they were divorced. Frank then married Hollywood agent Barbara Marx in 1976, while Mia went on to marry composer André Previn in 1970 and was then in a long-term relationship with Woody Allen from 1980 to 1992. Allen and Farrow broke up after it was discovered that he had formed a relationship with her adopted daughter, Soon-Yi.

14. Priscilla Presley

Priscilla Beaulieu wore a dress of her own design when she married Elvis Presley in May 1967 – also in Las Vegas. Their daughter, Lisa Marie, was born in 1968 and they divorced five years later in 1973.

16. Princess Margaret

Princess Margaret wore a white silk gown by Norman Hartnell – the same designer behind Queen Elizabeth’s dress – and a diamond tiara when she married Antony Armstrong Jones in 1960. Their marriage lasted until 1978.
