Michael Douglas’ son Cameron, whom he had in his first marriage to Diandra Luker, has a six-year-old of his own, and he recently showed her off in new photos. Father and daughter went skateboarding over the weekend and posed for some playful pictures while at it.
One of their selfies made it to Cameron’s Instagram grid, featuring Douglas’ granddaughter in a green jersey and protective gear covering her elbows and knees, and a helmet for her head. Cameron was shirtless with his tattoos on display as he threw rock hands signs while Lua did the same.

Cameron simply captioned the shot, “And so it begins, my angel,” accompanying the brief note with rock sign emojis. Fans flocked to the comments with admiration, and some pointed out the resemblance between Cameron and his daughter Lua. “Like father, like daughter! I sense a champion skateboarder!” someone exclaimed.
Others teased that Lua was a champion already, and wished her a safe ride. Meanwhile, an inspired follower said she was proud of Cameron and his achievements over the years since she began following him while in recovery from addiction.
Cameron Douglas is a proud father
Cameron shares two kids, Lua and 3-year-old Ryder, with his longtime girlfriend, Vivienne Thibes, and they could not be more proud of how far he has come. The 45-year-old battled addiction for years and even spent time in prison for possession of up to 8 ounces of methamphetamine.
Cameron overcame drug addiction and became a changed person, after which he documented his experience in Long Way Home. He thanked his family, including Douglas’ children and his current wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, for their support and for reading every page of his book. He noted that his past helps him navigate parenting better so that his kids can grow to be responsible adults.
