Carrie Underwood has long planted roots in Tennessee, and that’s made all the easier with the luxurious state of her home. Fans got a glimpse of that glamor when Underwood took to Instagram to share a video from inside her spacious kitchen. Other photos from inside her home confirm the elegant nature of the room that’s considered the heart of the home.
Last week, Underwood, 39, enjoyed a girls’ day of cooking – and some wine sampling – to preserve her treasure trove of fruits and vegetables. She credits The Canning Diva product line with helping to preserve the foods Underwood grew herself. Along the way, her 11.7 million Instagram followers got to see the impressive culinary arsenal that can be found in Underwood’s kitchen.

Her post continues, “Now I have a way to preserve all my garden goodness…I can’t wait to can some more goodies for the pantry!” Based on this inside look, Underwood’s kitchen is all about light, with off-white cabinetry keeping things bright. A towering hood helps ventilate a stove that’s so big, the size of that large spice mill Underwood uses is a necessity to reach everything. Decorations can be seen in cabinets bearing large glass panels that are lit from within.

Throughout this canning adventure, Underwood and the team were brewing broth, vegetable stew, and chicken soup. Her fans have been inspired by this project and have shared plans to can some of their own foods or learn the skill. Others reminisced about grandparents who canned their food and supported this as a great skill to have.
According to Hello! Magazine, all of this is happening in Franklin, in the house Underwood shares with her husband Mike Fisher and their sons Isaiah and Jacob. Underwood has said her dream home would have a wood-burning fireplace, but for now it looks like the kitchen came out of a dream.
