Amidst an absence of formal updates and sightings surrounding Kate Middleton, a video has reportedly been shared now of Middleton announcing that she has been diagnosed with cancer. In the video, she also informs viewers that she is undergoing preventative chemotherapy. The video was released on Friday and comes two months after Middleton underwent "major" abdominal surgery for intense pain. The cancer was discovered in post-operative tests after that same procedure earlier this year. Here is her statement. According to TIME magazine, by that evening, Reuters, the Associated Press, and Agence France-Press issued "kill orders" instructing clients to remove that image. In that case, Middleton issued a statement explaining, "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing."
