Kyu San Juan, a five-year-old boy from Wisconsin, was born with cerebral\u00a0arteriovenous malformation (AVM). AVM is an abnormal connection between the arteries and veins in the brain. Kyu was undiagnosed until it ruptured in 2017, which caused Kyu to have a seizure and become incapacitated.\r\n\r\nIn 2018, the young boy had a craniotomy AVM resection performed, but just one year later, doctors informed his family that the AVM grew back. He would need to have surgery again, but the young boy remains in good spirits nonetheless. The night before his surgery, the boy took his grandfather to the grocery store for a dance party. They record the entire thing!\r\nWatch Kyu dance with his grandfather in a grocery store\r\n\r\n\r\nThe moment took place at 11:57 at night, where he danced in the middle of a Festival Foods grocery store with grandpa Txhiaj Sawm Muas. "Here? People are going to think we're crazy! I thought we were going to a party or a club," his grandfather said in response to the dance party in the middle of a store.\r\n\r\nKyu allegedly responded, "Grandpa, your imagination. You can dance anywhere!" Kyu's mother posted the entire thing on Facebook, along with her own comments. "Thanks, dad for being such a good sport for Kyu and giving him all of your time before his surgery tomorrow. It was pretty fun!" she said.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nKyu has a fundraising page on Facebook, where they've raised nearly $11,000 for Kyu's treatment and recovery from his surgery. They originally had a goal of raising $5,000 and got way more than that! According to the fundraising page, Kyu's surgery went very well!\r\n\r\n"The surgery went well and better than what the doctors had anticipated," his mother shares. "Thank you everyone for your concerns, support and prayers. We love you all so much! Mark and I truly appreciate your love for our son."\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nCheck out the full video of Kyu and his grandfather dancing below! We dare you to try to not dance, too! The video has amassed almost 200,000 views and we bet it'll just keep growing as time goes on.\r\n\r\n\r\nWhat an adorable story! We're so glad to hear little Kyu is doing well post-surgery.\r\nSpeaking of surgery, one hospital actually lets kids drive toy cards to their surgery in order to reduce their anxiety. What a great idea!
