LeAnn Rimes has postponed several upcoming concert dates after revealing that she is battling severe laryngitis following a COVID diagnosis. The singer shared the disappointing update with fans through social media while explaining that doctors advised her to stop performing temporarily.

The country star expressed heartbreak over missing the shows and assured fans that the cancellations were completely out of her control. The health setback comes just weeks after she celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary with husband Eddie Cibrian during a vacation in Mexico.

LeAnn Rimes moved her scheduled concerts in Waukegan, Illinois, and Wilmington, Ohio, to new dates in November. Fans who already purchased tickets can still use them for the rescheduled performances, while refunds remain available for those unable to attend later in the year. The singer admitted that canceling the shows deeply upset her because she looked forward to seeing fans and celebrating with them. Earlier in the week, she also postponed performances in Seattle and Spokane after explaining that illness made her unable to travel or sing safely.

LeAnn Rimes also posted a playful anniversary message online in which she briefly hinted that health struggles had affected her recently. She joked about facing “perimenopause and health” challenges while renewing her appreciation for her husband’s support. Despite the difficult setback, the singer thanked fans for their kindness and encouragement while she recovers. She also promised supporters that she hopes to return to the stage soon once doctors allow her to safely perform again.
