Elvira Claps Back At Meghan Markle’s Pandemic Hair Dye Story In Humorous Post

Meghan Markle has been busy with her podcast lately, where she shares stories and talks with women about business, life, and all the things in between. Since stepping away from royal duties, she has started working more on creative projects with her husband, Prince Harry.

Her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, is part of that journey. In a recent episode, she decided to tell a funny story about something that happened during the COVID-19 lockdown. However, that little story has now taken on a life of its own online.

Meghan’s boxed dye story started as just a small moment in her podcast. She was laughing about how her hair ended up looking much darker than expected after using a boxed hair dye and said it reminded her of Elvira, the famous horror hostess known for her long black hair and spooky style. Though the joke was lighthearted, it didn’t take long for it to go viral.

Soon enough, Elvira herself saw a headline that said Meghan thought she looked like her after using box dye. Elvira, whose real name is Cassandra Peterson, decided to jump in. She posted the headline on Instagram and added a cheeky comment with a little smirk. She asked Meghan to come get beauty advice from a queen.

Fans react to Elvira’s response to Meghan Markle

Once Elvira made her post, fans jumped into the comment section with plenty to say. Some found it funny and said Meghan couldn’t possibly pull off the same bold look. Others said both women looked great in their own ways and didn’t see any reason to turn it into a bigger drama.

A few people reminded others that Cassandra Peterson doesn’t actually look like Elvira in real life. Outside the costume, she’s a redhead and dresses nothing like the spooky character. So they felt Meghan’s story was more about surprise than shade.
