Sir Ian McKellen, known for his long career in film and theatre, walked onto the stage and joined the band for a live performance. McKellen, who is 85, wore a smart cream suit along with a yellow shirt and matching scarf. He looked relaxed and confident as he stepped up to take part in the show.

Over the years, McKellen has become one of the most respected actors in the UK, with major roles in The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, X-Men, and many Shakespeare productions. His appearance at the concert was a surprise addition that added something different to the night.

One of the highlights of the night came when McKellen performed the spoken word section from the band’s 2010 song “Invisible Light.” This part of the song, which appears near the end, is not sung but spoken, and McKellen originally recorded it for their album more than a decade ago.

His voice added a unique touch to the song at the time, and hearing him perform it live gave the audience something they didn’t expect. The band later posted a short video of the performance on TikTok. They expressed how happy they were to share the stage with McKellen.
