6. Don’t touch

Just like you shouldn’t touch someone’s phone or other belongings without permission, you shouldn’t touch anyone without their permission. Even if you’re okay with random hugs, other people may not be!

7. Don’t cause a scene

If you are having a problem at a store or with a company, try to keep calm. It likely isn’t the customer service person’s fault. Speak firm, but polite. We guarantee you will get your way much faster that way.

8. Don’t forget bathroom etiquette

Public bathrooms are just that… public. Many people have to use them all day. People have to clean them. If you make a mess, clean it up. Wash your hands after using the bathroom. Just treat it as you would your own bathroom that you would have to clean. Also, just don’t talk on your phone while you’re in a bathroom stall.

9. Be a good houseguest

If you stay at someone’s house, even if it is just for dinner, make sure to help clean the dishes or help with other chores. You should also bring a small gift or offer to buy them dinner in exchange for letting you stay with them.
