Sears has finally announced that they will be filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy as an attempt to restructure the company. While multiple closings of Sears and Kmart locations have been announced over the course of 2018, the company has announced that another 142 locations will be closing amid the announcement of bankruptcy.
“Liquidation sales at these stores are expected to begin shortly,” says the Sears company in a statement. Shoppers can expect to see discounts of anywhere between 20% to 50% off regular prices. So, if you’ve been wanting to get your hands on a Sears/Kmart item, now’s the chance for a good deal.
