The Taurid Meteor Shower
The Taurid meteor shower peaks on November 12th and the best views of the shower come in the early morning hours, between 2 am and 3 am local time. Because of the large size of these meteors, they are often fiery and bright, which makes for a dazzling show!
The Leonid Meteor Shower
The Leonid meteor shower peaks on the mornings of November 17th and November 18th. This shower typically produces about 10 meteors an hour. The best time to view these fast-moving meteors is at 2 am local time. We’re sensing a pattern with the early morning time frame.
