Patrick Swayze was a multi-talented gem, and he will never be forgotten. The talented star is most famously known for his hit film, Dirty Dancing,  in which he proved that he was not only a sensational actor but was also a gifted dancer! What many people never really knew was that Patrick Swayze was also a rather luminous singer. Swayze came onstage on the Top Pop TV show in Norway, in 1987 to sing “She’s Like The Wind”. His live version of the song has been watched by many people over the years. However, before Swayze goes onstage to perform, he gives an interviewer a bit of trivial information behind the tune. According to Swayze, “She’s Like The Wind” was indeed written for the movie “Dirty Dancing”, but the song was actually written for his wife.

“She’s Like The Wind” Lyrics:

She’s like the wind through my tree,
She rides the night next to me
She leads me through moonlight
Only to burn me with the sun
She’s taken my heart
But she doesn’t know what she’s done
CHORUS:
Feel her breath on my face
Her body close to me
Can’t look in her eyes
She’s out of my league
Just a fool to believe
I have anything she needs
She’s like the wind
I look in the mirror and all I see
Is a young old man with only a dream
Am I just fooling myself
That she’ll stop the pain
Living without her
I’d go insane
CHORUS:
Feel her breath on my face
Her body close to me
Can’t look in her eyes
She’s out of my league
Just a fool to believe
I have anything she needs
She’s like the wind
I feel your breath on my face
Your body close to me
Can’t look in your eyes
Your out of my league
Just a fool to believe
(Just a fool to believe)
She’s like the wind
(Just a fool)Just a (to believe)fool to believe (She’s like the wind) Just a fool to believe (Just a fool to believe) She’s like the wind Just a fool to believe She’s like the wind
(Just a fool, She’s like the wind)
REPEAT UNTIL FADE
