Gene Simmons, the co-founder of the rock band KISS, has had an incredible career spanning several decades. Having sold millions of albums and filled concert venues all over the world in the course of his outstanding career, the 75-year-old has earned several accolades, including a 2014 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

However, beyond the stage lights and roaring crowds, the rocker has, over the years, devoted himself to lending a helping hand to those in need, supporting children’s hospitals and disaster relief efforts, advocating for veterans and environmental conservation. Simmons, popular for his trademark fire-breathing, blood-spitting, and towering platform boots, is now set to be honored for his charitable works that have touched countless lives.
