The Alan Jackson Last Call Tour ended earlier this year after running from 2022 through May 2025. The tour followed Jackson’s public revelation that he was living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a nerve disorder that affects movement and balance. Despite the physical strain, Jackson continued to perform, determined to give his fans the farewell they deserved. His strength throughout the Alan Jackson Last Call Tour showed his deep love for performing and for his audience.

The upcoming Nashville show will also benefit the CMT Research Foundation, which funds studies for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. By turning his final concert into a benefit, Alan Jackson shows that his compassion extends beyond music. It’s not only a farewell performance but also a gesture of gratitude and hope for others facing similar health challenges.

Jackson first opened up about his condition in 2021, explaining how it affected his ability to balance on stage. “I don’t want people to think I’m drunk up there,” he said at the time, adding that he inherited the disease from his father. He stressed that while the illness isn’t fatal, it continues to limit his mobility. Even so, Jackson has remained positive, saying his faith and family keep him going.

As he prepares for his final bow, fans are reminded why his songs have stood the test of time: they come straight from the heart.
