Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell met for the first time in 1966 but did not start dating until 1983, when they saw each other again on the set of Swing Shift. After reuniting, they fell in love and began considering the possibility of being together.

However, both actors already had children from previous relationships at the time, and Hawn worried about what would happen. But they blended their family, consisting of Hawn’s two children, Kate and Oliver Hudson, from her last marriage, Russell’s son, Boston Russell, and welcomed their son, Wyatt Russell.
