‘Sopranos’ And ‘Goodfellas’ Star Now Looks Totally Different With Vibrant Grey Hair

Lorraine Bracco is most popular for playing Dr. Jennifer Melfi in the long-running mob drama The Sopranos. On Thursday, she made a rare public appearance at a New York City charity event, the American Heart Association’s Red Dress Collection Concert at Jazz, Lincoln Center.

Bracco wore her hair in its natural silver color, which complimented her long red dress perfectly. Before becoming a screen star, she was a top fashion model in the same city, however her show business career skyrocketed when she joined the cast of The Sopranos.

Where is Lorraine Bracco now?

Bracco may have slowed down in recent years, but she is still quite active in Hollywood. She starred in the Netflix movie The Union and Monster Summer last year and is set to appear in the comedy film Nonnas in May.  Bracco has granted interviews over the years, and was on a recent podcast session with MarkandMe.

She has an active social media where fans can keep tabs on her, with her latest post celebrating the 26th anniversary of The Sopranos. Per the iconic series, Bracco reunited with her co-star Michael Imperioli during the 2023 Emmy Awards, where they reminisced about their experience on set.

Lorraine Bracco’s path to Hollywood fame

Bracco’s career spans several decades, with her breakthrough role being Karen Hill in 1990’s Goodfellas, where she starred opposite Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, and Joe Pesci. Bracco later became a household name for her The Sopranos, which earned her multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.

Bracco’s other film credits include Medicine Man, starring Sean Connery and The Basketball Diaries with Leonardo DiCaprio. She has also lent her voice to characters in The Simpsons and Family Guy. The mother of two is also an author, having published her self-help book To the Fullest: The Clean Up Your Act Plan to Lose Weight, Rejuvenate, and Be the Best You Can Be in 2015.
