Lando and Seymour’s professional relationship began in the early 1990s when they starred together in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. The series, which ran for six seasons from 1993 to 1998, followed the story of Dr. Michaela Quinn, a pioneering female physician who established a clinic in post-Civil War Colorado. Lando played her love interest, the rugged outdoorsman Byron Sully.
After the show ended, the pair continued their collaboration, appearing in two television movies tied to the series. Their bond extended beyond Dr. Quinn, as they reunited in 2011 for the Hallmark Channel movie Perfectly Prudence.
