Lenny Kravitz delivered a spectacular performance at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve that left fans talking. Fans did not only compliment his music but also his band. The reviews that poured in from his performance at the event were impressive.
However, something else caught the attention of viewers during his performance. During his rendition of “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” eagle-eyed viewers could not help but mention that his guitarist resembled the radio anchor Howard Stern.
Lenny Kravitz’s guitarist looked exactly like Howard Stern
As the performance began with the song’s guitar solo, the camera panned to Kravitz’s guitarist. Fans noted that the musician’s huge frame, big bushy dark hair, and signature sunglasses, were just like Stern’s features. Social media platforms erupted with comments, with one fan posting, “Lenny Kravitz signed up Howard Stern on guitar. Didn’t know he could play! #RockinEve25.”
Others contributed to the conversation, pointing out that Stern was into music before. In the late 1990s, Stern formed a band called The Losers with staff members from The Howard Stern Show. Though the band was mostly for comedy, they famously played with music legends like James Brown and Willie Nelson. The speculations had more standing when Stern publicly mentioned that he had been practicing guitar in recent years. This made fans find the possibility of his collaboration with Kravitz not entirely far-fetched.
Meanwhile, fans also praised Kravitz’s extraordinary performance. “Lenny Kravitz is such an icon. Great to see him on #RockinEve25!” one fan wrote. Another declared, “Still one of the sexiest men alive! I could have watched him for hours.
Despite the speculation, no confirmation has been made whether it is truly Howard Stern or if the resemblance was intentional or coincidental. The buzz surrounding the guitarist added another layer of excitement to Kravitz’s performance. Although the mystery of whom the guitarist is remains unsolved, Lenny Kravitz has once again proved why he’s a rock legend.
