Todd reminisced how he kissed her while she was in bed and partially awake before informing her about his will to let her go. He asked her to go ahead and join her mother, grandmother, and late brothers because they [Todd and his family] would be just fine.
Betty passed away a few hours after Todd’s conversation, and although it saddened him, Todd was glad to see her relieved from the suffering. Todd took away lessons on faith and trusting God from that vulnerable moment of letting his mother go.
