Remember Snoopy from the comic strip Peanuts? The dog might just be real! Recently, a one-year-old mini black and white sheepadoodle, a cross between a miniature poodle and an Old English sheepdog, surfaced online and left netizens in awe because of its striking resemblance with Snoopy.
The viral dog, Bayley, has a cartoonish look and groomed curly fur, making her face look puffy. With her black floppy ears and black button nose, she makes a perfect Snoopy lookalike. Instagram users discovered Snoopy after the Doodle Dogs Club shared her photo with over 200k followers on their pages, making her go viral.
Meet Bayley
Bayley’s photo on Instagram got over a million likes and more than ten thousand comments. “Meet @Bayley.Sheepadoodle, the spitting image of Snoopy! With those big ears and that button nose, Bayley is the perfect real-life version of our favorite cartoon dog,” the caption reads.

The pup soon amassed fans asking that she play Snoop in a live-action version of Charlie Brown. However, other users argued that Snoopy was a Beagle breed, unlike Bayley. Regardless, there is no disputing that Bayley looks more like the cartoon pet than a real-life Beagle, giving her an advantage when it comes to playing Snoopy.
Bayley has her own Instagram profile
After her viral moment, Bayley’s Instagram profile got busy, and she now has almost 300k followers, as her fans could not get enough of her. Bayley’s mom regularly uploads videos of her with a voiceover that makes it sound like the adorable dog is telling a story.
Bayley’s account responded to the post that brought her to the limelight, thanking the Doodle Dogs Club for the feature, “That’s me. Hi everyone. Thank you @doodledogsclub for putting my photos together. You are paw-some.”
