Martha Stewart has mastered the art of causing a buzz on social media with her occasional thirst traps. Back in 2020, the lifestyle creator posted a poolside picture that caused a rave online for a while and has kept fans enthusiastic for more of her sultry side.
In an exclusive with PEOPLE, the 82-year-old hinted that her fans could expect another risque photo of herself before summer ends. Earlier this year, she graced the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, making history as the oldest SI model; Martha showed an even sexier side to herself, and we cannot wait to see what she pulls off next!
Martha keeps it a tease
While Martha spoke about her collaboration with Dunkin’ to show how and when to shake iced coffee, she was asked if she plans to post any thirst traps as summer comes to a close. She responded, “Who knows? I’m leaving in a couple of hours to go to Greenland, so I doubt I’m going to be doing any thirst traps there, but you never can tell.”

Since she would be in Greenland as summer ends, Martha joked that her next potentially viral post might have “a polar bear in the background.” Despite being in her 80s, she is not done with showcasing her sexual appeal, as she admitted to finding it pleasurable. “Now I’m looking for the next thirst trap,” she said. “I love doing those promiscuous, provocative things because it’s just fun.”
Martha Stewart’s 2020 photo of the year was unplanned
Sometimes, the best things happen unplanned, and one can say the same for Martha’s photo, which trended on social media a couple of years ago. The mother of one shared that she was trying to take a photo of something else and not herself. “I took a pool selfie photo by mistake,” she explained. “I was trying to take a picture of the beautiful turquoise planter at the end of the pool.”
The camera was instead flipped on her face, so she took it anyway, giving rise to Martha’s 2020 photo of the year. “The camera was on me, so I just snapped it. It looked so good, so I posted it,” the mother of one added. In 2021, Martha revealed how the viral 2020 photo got her “so many proposals and so many propositions,” which she had to turn down due to her busy schedule.
