American actor and film director Clint Eastwood rose to international prominence based on his character as the Man with No Name in Sergio Leone’s Dollars Trilogy, the first of it produced in 1964. According to his son, 36-year-old Scott Eastwood, who is one of Clint’s eight children from different mothers, the actor, who was always in the middle of glitz and paparazzi, did not condone his children despite being a Hollywood superstar.
Scott Eastwood, who is also an actor just like his father, is the middle child of his father even though he is his mother’s first child. Clint had a relationship with Hawaii-based flight attendant Jacqueline while still married to his first wife, Margaret Neville Johnson. Although the duo never got married, their relationship lasted for about five years, during which they gave birth to Scott in 1986 and his younger sister Katherine in 1988.
Clint Eastwood Managed His Job And Family Well
Clint and Jacelyn Reeves broke up in 1990 while Scott was just four years old, and the two kids had to stay with their mother for the better part of their childhood. This arrangement made Scott unable to see his father as often as he wanted, but Scott, while speaking with Men’s Journal in 2018, he excused his father’s absence from his life, saying, “he was doing two or three films a year.”

He also stated that his father spent time with him teaching him how to fish, shoot a gun, and other activities. During his appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast, Scott spoke highly of his father and their relationship. “Speaking to my dad, it’s like there’s a wealth of knowledge in Fort Knoxx and you’re trying to pull little slivers out. I’m trying to just soak up every piece of knowledge I can from him. I know he’s not going to be around forever and that’s terrifying to think about.”
Clint Scolded His Son, Scott
In an interview with GQ in 2016, Scott recalled an experience he had with his father when he accidentally abandoned his sister at a party during his teenage years. Clint had taught all his children about the need to maintain integrity, honor, and hard work, which was the creed of the Eastwood clan.
He stated that he went to a house party when he was sixteen with his sister, Kathryn, who was 14 years old at the time. While the party was ongoing, he left his kid sister to meet up with the guys who were also in attendance.
“I left her and I didn’t think about it at the time. Later, Dad found out that I’d left her there. He popped me and said, ‘You don’t ever leave your sister at a party. EVER.’ And it was very old-school, very old-school of him,” Scott said.
The 36-year-old actor noted that the lesson he learned from that experience stayed with him throughout his life. “If you did something wrong, you were going to get punished. I learnt quickly – you don’t do that,” he said further.
