Partridge Family star Danny Bonaduce announced that he was taking a temporary leave from his radio show due to a mystery illness. He shared a photo of himself with a cane but did not elaborate further on what the illness may be or what his symptoms are.
Danny wrote, “Some news to share. I’m taking a temporary medical leave from my radio show. I’ll share more when I know more. I’m still working towards receiving a diagnosis. What I know is, I need time to focus on my health. I love my job and talking to you guys & I’ll be back on the air soon.”

Alongside the photo of himself using a cane, he joked, “Charlie Chaplin, Willy Wonka, Danny Bonaduce. I’ve joined the club of cool guys with canes.”

The radio show Danny is referring to is The Danny Bonaduce & Sarah Morning Show on KZOK, a Seattle radio station. He has been hosting the show since 2011. Danny is best known for being a child star in the 1970s, on the popular show The Partridge Family. Unfortunately, he suffered from substance abuse problems years later.
When he was struggling with addiction, his former co-star David Cassidy helped him get sober. He said he asked him to come on tour with him under the circumstances of “no drugs, no alcohol, no smoking, and no women.”
