Conchata is also known for her roles in Mr. Deeds, Edward Scissorhands, and Erin Brockovich. In May, she was first hospitalized after feeling sick and spent about a month in the ICU. During that time she went into cardiac arrest.
Now she has been transferred to a long-term care facility and is on a respirator. She is also on dialysis. As of right now, Conchata is stable but unable to speak. Unfortunately, her husband Arnie Anderson is not able to visit due to the coronavirus pandemic.
