The trailer for the official Perry Mason reboot by HBO is here along with a premiere date! It will debut June 21st at 9 p.m. starring Emmy winner Matthew Rhys. It follows the story of the famed criminal defense attorney. Rhys’ character is in the midst of the Great Depression alongside an oil boom, hosting the Olympic Games, and the growing film industry.
The cast will include John Lithgow, Tatiana Maslany, Juliet Rylance, Chris Chalk, Shea Whigham, Stephen Root, Gayle Rankin, Nate Corddry, Veronica Falcon, Jefferson Mays, Lili Taylor, Andrew Howard, Eric Lange, and Robert Patrick.

Executive producers for the reboot include Amanda Burrell, Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey, Ron Fitzgerald, Joe Horacek, Rolin Jones, and Timothy Van Patten (also directing). Co-executive producer is Aida Rodgers. Rhys is also the procedure of the series created by Rolin Jones & Ron Fitzgerald. It’s based on characters created by Erle Stanley Gardner.
