- There is a biopic about Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne in the works!
- The biopic will focus on the early days of Ozzy and Sharon’s relationship in addition to Ozzy’s early solo work.
- This big news is confirmed by their son, Jack.
Ozzy Osbourne’s son, Jack, has officially confirmed that a biopic about his famous parents is in the works right now! The biopic will be tackling Ozzy’s early solo career and the early times with his wife, Sharon. “There is absolutely things in motion right now to make that a reality,” Jack reveals during an appearance on The Jasta Show. “I think in the next few months, you’ll probably see something coming up about it. But we haven’t landed [at a studio] yet. So, fingers crossed.”
He was then asked who he would want to portray him in the film. Jack replies, “I think the time period I would do it in, I would be a child in it. So I wouldn’t be so heavily featured. It’s gonna be more about my mom and dad making their way through the world. I would be in the background just being annoying.”
Ozzy Osbourne is getting the biopic treatment
Jack also talks about the upcoming Biography: The Nine Lives Of Ozzy Osbourne documentary. The documentary is set to premiere this summer and will celebrate Ozzy’s life. It features interviews with Sharon, Rick Rubin, Ice-T, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Jonathan Davis, and Post Malone.

Jack is super excited for the new documentary! “As much as I love [the 2011 documentary] ‘God Bless Ozzy [Osbourne]’, this is so much better… I think this does a better job of kind of cramming in his entire life in a two-hour film. We start from childhood and we go all the way up to his recent Parkinson’s diagnosis. So it’s all in there.”
More details leaked back in 2019 from Sharon
Even back in January 2019, Sharon had leaked information about a biopic that was in the works. “I don’t want to do another rock and roll, sex, drugs and money movie about a musician,” she says at the time. “That’s not what I’m doing. There hasn’t been a movie about a woman that actually works on the management side — that’s a true story — and somebody that succeeds through the struggle and you come out the other side.”
According to Blabbermouth, the film will end just before she and Ozzy get married in 1982, so it’s really focused on the early parts of their relationship and his career back then. Sharon also said that she would want to “get a complete unknown” to play Ozzy. Sounds like a new, exciting development and we can’t wait to hear more on it!
