The camera may have stopped rolling in 1995 but the cast of Full House remained as much a family as their on-screen counterparts. Since 2022, however, they have been mourning the loss of a TV family member following the death of Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom. Those who remain continue to treasure his memory, with co-star John Stamos recently sharing one of the very last photos the Full House cast took with Saget. 60-year-old John Stamos played Jesse Katsopolis across eight seasons of Full House and in five seasons of Fuller House on Netflix. On October 23, Stamos celebrated the release of his memoir, If You Would Have Told Me, which shares anecdotes from his career and interactions with other actors, including Saget. But he’s also actively used social media to share never-before-seen memories with the late actor, who was 65 when he died unexpectedly from blunt head trauma. The picture in question is a mix of formal and candid. The cast is neatly posed on a set of brick stairs, arranged with deliberation but completely relaxed in their poses and expressions. Candace Cameron Bure, Saget’s TV daughter D.J., is mid-laugh and Stamos himself is seen grinning from ear to ear while appearing to look right at Saget, who is leaning against David Coulier.
