Paul McCartney Finally Responds To A Fan’s ‘I Love You’ From 60 Years Ago

Paul McCartney

A Beatles fan named Adrienne from Brooklyn had her lucky day recently after bandmate Paul McCartney finally responded to her shoutout from 60 years ago. Adrienne, who was much younger at the time, professed her love for Paul in a resurfaced video posted to the singer’s TikTok and Instagram pages. “Paul McCartney, if you’re listening, Adrienne from Brooklyn loves you with all her heart,” she said in the wholesome clip.

Six decades later, Paul has now stitched the video with his feedback, saying, “Hey, Adrienne. Listen, it’s Paul. I saw your video. I’m in Brooklyn now. I’m in New York. I finally got here. We got an exhibition, a photo exhibition. Come along and see it.”

Paul announced his archival presentation titled “Paul McCartney Photographs 1963-64: Eyes of the Storm,” ahead of its opening at the Brooklyn Museum on Friday while asking Adrienne to be there as well. “And Adrienne from Brooklyn, if you are listening, Paul McCartney from Liverpool loves you too,” they stated.

According to the Brooklyn Museum’s website, fans will explore over 250 photos taken by Paul’s Pentax camera during the “frenzy of Beatlemania in 1963–64, when the band’s first U.S. tour skyrocketed them to superstardom.”

It was delightful that Adrienne’s video was acknowledged long after she may have moved on from it. A fan told Paul that she “waited a long time,” with another adding that Adrienne would probably die of excitement if she is still alive. “Adrienne from Brooklyn is about to become 16 again,” a TikTok user exclaimed in the comments.

Most hoped that she was not dead yet and expressed their anticipation ahead of the event; however, a certain John Dono Frio announced that Adrienne was his mother’s name, and she was from Brooklyn as well. “It looks and sounds just like her. Sadly she passed away at 41 in 1991,” he revealed.
