Following their time as in-laws for eight seasons of Full House, Bob Saget and John Stamos became known as steadfast friends. But while filming the ABC sitcom, it wasn’t uncommon to see the two clashing, and things came to a head while at an important photography event. Stamos, along with his Full House co-stars, has been continually sharing memories of the late Saget since the comedian’s sudden passing in January 2022. Outside of his work on Full House, Saget was known for his mature adult humor, and Stamos would even call him “distracting” and “disruptive” when filming. But their feud ended up coming to a shockingly adorable resolution. In retaliation to Saget’s attitude, Stamos admitted, “I jokingly suggested to Bob that he take off his shirt, grab a binky, and come cuddle with me in the blankie.” On top of that, they also came from different entertainment backgrounds, and there were some growing pains working together. “Our styles completely clashed,” explained Stamos. “He was a comic. If there was even one person on the set, he had to make them laugh. And I was, ‘Where is the drama?’ I think we met in the middle. But we both went in kicking and screaming, not wanting to bend what we do.” Indeed, Saget’s addiction to laughs drove him to often act out, which Stamos felt “that it could have been a detriment sometimes to him.” But, Stamos is always quick to emphasize, “He found a balance like nobody I’ve ever seen. He would make up for all of that with just as much love or more,” adding, “Bob was bombastic with his love and his friendship.
