In his career spanning over three decades, music artist Toby Keith left an indelible mark on the industry. His impact sees Keith up for induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, an honor that his son, Stelen, has shared a heartfelt reaction to. Keith's name was read under the category of Modern Era Artist. Stelen was present at the inductee announcement ceremony when this reveal was made. However, it just so happened that Keith was still eligible. At the inductee announcement, Trahern explained that voting had started before Keith died, allowing him to still qualify. However, Trahern added, "My heart sank that Tuesday afternoon knowing that we’d missed the chance to inform Toby while he was still with us."
